Golden Property Management team members are adept at building relationships with both owners and tenants, are organized and detail-oriented, and are up-to-date on the latest laws affecting property owners. We offer honest, reliable and reasonably priced services.

Founded by Kathy O’Hara, Golden Property Management reflects her values of courtesy, professionalism and attention to detail. Kathy’s knowledge and familiarity with real estate laws will ensure that every property GPM manages is maintained to the highest standards. As a property owner herself, Kathy appreciates the importance of renting to reliable and credit-worthy tenants. She not only strives to find the right tenants -- tenants who appreciate the fact that they are renting a home not just a place to live – she also develops an on-going relationship with them. When maintenance is required, she doesn’t lock an owner into hiring her crew; rather, as a true independent she shops around for the most reliable, professional and cost effective providers, passing these savings on to the owner.

Kathy began her professional career in the US Navy where she served 10 years on active duty and two years in the US Navy Reserve. She was an Aviation Electrician working on CH/HH-46, P-3 Orion, and Intermediate Level Depot. For seven years she was an electrical shop supervisor who progressed to managing a crew of 15 people. As a manager, she developed and enhanced many of the skills that now set her apart from other property managers. Maintaining electrical and navigational aircraft instilled in her the hands-on work ethic required to be an excellent property manager; having to research the use of new and improved materials tapped into her life-long passion for education; assessing ways to enhance the output of her staff sharpened her problem solving abilities; working on deadlines honed her excellent time management skills; and the demand for precision when maintaining aircraft taught her the need to pay attention to details.
